THMax

Help Center

Guides to importing, accounts, workers, priorities, backups and notifications. Content is maintained alongside the in-app help.

Available tools depend on the installed version and platform. Marked instructions include changes in preparation that may not yet be in the stores.

Getting started and importing

Add or refresh an account with the official JSON export.

  1. In Clash of Clans, open Settings → More Settings → Export Data and copy the complete JSON.
  2. In THMax, open Accounts, tap +, and confirm the detected account.
  3. Import the JSON again whenever you want to confirm new levels, upgrades, and boosts.
  • THMax never asks for your password or Supercell ID.
  • In Settings → Quick import you can skip the JSON coverage review or progress details. Control still refreshes when the import finishes.
  • Archiving keeps the account and its progress but removes it from active panels and notifications.

The export discovers tasks and timers. Update profiles can confirm permanent levels exposed by the API but does not replace JSON.

Update profiles and confirm progress

What the API confirms and what still needs JSON.

  • Update profiles uses THMax services to read the official API and refresh the data it exposes.
  • It can confirm known permanent levels and complete known upgrades with sufficient evidence. It does not discover new timers or invent upgrades.
  • Buildings, boosts, capacity and new upgrades still need the JSON export. Reimporting and updating profiles are separate actions.
  • Respect the wait shown on screen. If a read fails, local progress remains available; check the message before trying again.

Profile updated and Village imported refer to different operations. A recent profile read does not mean your JSON is also up to date.

Control, progress, and recommendations

See what is working, what is idle, and what to upgrade next.

  • Control groups builders, laboratory, pets, Builder Base, and helpers across all active accounts.
  • Tap an account to see recommendations. Playstyle priorities cover resources, defenses, heroes, walls, temporary defenses, and supercharges.
  • When an upgrade countdown ends, THMax locally projects the next level and marks it as awaiting confirmation. The next import confirms or corrects it.
  • Starting or recommending an upgrade in THMax does not change anything in the game.
  • Prepare session, in the Control header, lists your accounts in your order (or by most or least work) with their workers and the resources they need. Expand an account to see what to upgrade; resources are not shared across accounts.

Preferences, styles and upgrade order

Order categories and items per account and queue.

  1. Open a village and its priority settings. Builders, Laboratory and Pets are configured separately.
  2. In Builders open a style and drag the three-bar handle to order categories. Tap a category for its internal order below the list.
  3. Drag an item’s handle, release it and wait for saving. Windows/web use the up and down arrows.
  • Each style keeps its own order per account. Laboratory and Pets also support independent styles, including army-based ones.
  • Applying or copying to selected accounts is an explicit action. Check the source account and selection first.
  • Only items available at your Town Hall are shown; saved positions of hidden items are preserved. Reset affects the stated order, not progress.

Use the handle to reorder and the rest of the row to scroll. You do not need to drag from the name or image.

Goals, schedule and play windows

Prepare a goal, understand its cost and check whether you finish on time.

Includes changes in preparation

  1. Open My goals or Priorities and goals in a village’s detail. Create a goal from an army link or choose upgrades and levels. Linked copies can be shared with other accounts.
  2. Open the goal for remaining upgrades, resources and time. Active goals always count in recommendations.
  3. Open the schedule, choose 7, 30 or 90 days and configure My play windows. The time zone belongs to the plan.
  • A target date lets you check whether you finish on time and by how much. Without a complete date, extend the period and check missing requirements. Equipment does not count towards the date.
  • Compare alternatives and saved variants explore play windows or orders; they do not start upgrades, spend items or apply a configuration by themselves.
  • Saving a goal never writes actual levels. Pausing removes it from the active plan without deleting it; deletion asks whether to remove it here or in all accounts using it.

Play windows are not quiet hours. Estimates assume resources are available at each upgrade’s start; a partial total does not cover the whole goal.

Abilities, equipment and ore

Equipment, target levels and calculations using your ore balance.

Includes changes in preparation

  • Abilities shows heroes and pieces for the selected account. Its header flag opens Abilities plan and the trophy opens Hero journey.
  • Choose pieces, target levels and their order. A piece shared by several goals should not be interpreted as several copies of that piece.
  • In Abilities plan, calculate what your current balance can upgrade. It follows your order and stops at the first piece that cannot reach its next level. Spending in Clash is not deducted automatically.
  • An army’s pieces are edited in its goal. After switching accounts, check the name before saving ore or target levels.

The balance is dated and marked old after three days. Ores do not produce completion dates. A goal with unfinished equipment is not marked Done.

Boosts, helpers, and timers

Check active acceleration and calculate every estimated finish.

  • The Boosts panel keeps accounts collapsed; header icons show active potions, treats, or helpers.
  • Expand an account to see each upgrade in progress, the potions needed to finish it, and its estimated completion.
  • THMax cannot read your Magic Item inventory: it calculates how many would be needed, not how many you own.
  • Compare books and hammers ranks alternatives by time, resources or how much they advance a goal. Comparing does not spend items or start upgrades.
  • Overlapping accelerations are combined over their actual time windows. Notifications are rescheduled for the calculated finish.
  • Home Village Gear Ups use Home Village boosts; Clock Tower and Clock Tower Potions only affect Builder Base and do not accelerate those Gear Ups.

Times are projections based on the latest JSON and actions recorded in THMax. Import again to reconcile them with the game.

Notifications

Configure global, per-account, and war alerts.

  • Global settings apply to accounts without custom settings.
  • Enable Receive notifications and check system permission. Android may also ask for alarm access to notify at the expected time; check quiet hours and battery restrictions for late alerts.
  • Under Customize by account, you can enable or disable categories for one account even when that category has a different global value.
  • Choose alerts for builders, laboratory, pets, Builder Base, and each helper.
  • Clan alerts include war preparation and ending reminders when the official API provides the required information.
  • Per-account preferences stay on this device, are excluded from cloud backups, and changing one account only reschedules its alerts.

You must also grant notification permission to THMax in iOS or Android settings.

Clans, wars, and Clan War League

Review the current war, history, members, and CWL seasons.

  • Open a clan to see its current war. Tap Members, Wins, or League to expand only that block, and tap again to collapse it.
  • In a war, you can order participants and filter players who still have attacks available.
  • Wins shows classic war history 10 at a time; green means win, red loss, and gray draw.
  • League shows the current league and detected CWL seasons with rank, promotion, relegation or no change, stars, and destruction.
  • Under Members, sort by trophies/league, Town Hall, or troops donated.
  • Capital reminders relate to Raid Weekend. Clan preparation organizes your own accounts; it does not manage attacks or other members’ villages.

A public war log enables more complete tracking, opponents, history, and notifications. The official API limits some details for private logs.

Progress history and achievements

Detected progress by day and remaining game achievements.

  • The calendar in the Accounts header opens Progress history. Choose a day for imports and detected progress; it is no longer inside Points.
  • History reflects observed evidence. A task disappearing from JSON does not prove completion: it may also have been cancelled.
  • When comparing backups, expand estimated helper and potion savings by account alongside detected uses. These savings appear in the comparator, not in Detected progress.
  • Import a fresh JSON export to record active upgrades. Each new upgrade's savings count from its first observation until completion or effect expiry; reimporting the same JSON does not add them again. Older backups may have partial data.
  • Game achievements is in the Clans header. Filter by category, account or proximity and view progress since the profile update.
  • Achievement gems are game rewards. THMax points are managed in Points and serve a different purpose.

Points, missions, and referrals

Earn THMax Points and redeem them for temporary capacity.

  • Open Points from the Clans header for balance, redemption, missions and referrals. Progress history is in the Accounts header.
  • Missions progress only when an import or compatible action provides enough evidence.
  • Share your referral code as a link, QR code, or through installed apps. The link opens THMax with the code ready.
  • Bonus slots are added to your Free or Premium capacity regardless of your current plan.
  • THMax Points and Gems are internal rewards: they are not Clash of Clans Gems, cash, or goods redeemable outside THMax.

THMax Account, plans, and cloud backups

Protect your data, check your plan, and move to another device.

  1. On the device with the correct data, open THMax Account → Save backup.
  2. On the new device, sign in with the same email address.
  3. Open THMax Account and use Restore backup if it is empty, or Import backup if it already has data.
  • Importing a cloud backup does not merge data: it replaces local data with the selected backup. THMax first creates a local recovery copy and rolls back if anything fails.
  • Subscription shows your active plan and monthly or annual prices localized by Apple or Google; THMax does not hard-code the displayed currency.
  • You can change plan through the store. The effective date and change behavior depend on App Store or Google Play.
  • Bonus slots are added to plan capacity. If they expire, excess accounts are archived without deleting their progress.
  • Capacity is in the Accounts header. A slot may remain reserved after releasing or transferring a village: follow the status and wait shown on screen.
  • Cloud backups have size and frequency limits. On a limit message, keep a local file with Save progress and follow the instruction rather than repeatedly uploading.

Widgets and the home screen

Workers, upcoming finishes, helpers and calculator.

  1. Open Settings → Widgets to check availability in your installation and review publication status.
  2. Hold your phone’s home screen, enter Widgets or Add widget and find THMax.
  3. Choose type and size, then configure accounts, village or horizon. On iOS hold the widget and select Edit widget.
  • Widgets show data published by the app; they do not import JSON or read the game themselves.
  • If empty or stale, open THMax, check accounts and review Settings → Widgets. Background refresh depends on the system.
  • They need a compatible native installation. Expo Go and the web version are not equivalent to the installed app with its widgets.

Errors, slowness or data that does not match

Safe checks before contacting support.

  1. Check the version in Settings and whether the store offers an update. Note the screen and steps that reproduce the problem.
  2. For data or timings, check account and village and reimport the complete JSON. For an online service, check connectivity and any wait message.
  3. If it continues, open Support, copy diagnostics and describe the expected result, what happened and when it started.
  • On a local database startup error, keep the message. Do not erase app data or overwrite a good backup with an empty one.
  • For a missing village, check archived accounts and capacity. For missing actions, check Home/Builder Base and selected groups.
  • Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or the complete JSON. Hide unnecessary personal details in screenshots.

Compatible local features remain available offline. Profiles, clans, THMax sign-in, purchases and cloud backups need a connection.

Privacy, local backups, and support

What stays on your phone and what is used by online services.

  • THMax is offline-first: JSON and progress are stored first in SQLite on your device.
  • Save progress exports a file that you choose where to keep. Deleting your THMax account from the app removes online data and villages on that device, but not exported files. A support request can only remove online data.
  • Connecting a THMax account uses online services for authentication, capacity, purchases, points, referrals, and cloud backups.
  • Support diagnostics contain the version, platform, session state, and account counts; they do not include JSON, player tags, email, or progress.
  • Legal & Privacy explains data, providers, retention, deletion, subscriptions, and THMax's unofficial status.
